I was looking for an answer to the question of how much the continuous reduction of a sample element changes the possibilities of using that sample element. The three families of patterns are constantly being reduced so that they can relate to each other stylistically. The series covers 10 protected beetles, of which I am now sharing the horn beetle. I reduced the bugs through 3 phases.<\/p>\n
The first family of samples is the richest and most colourful, almost blending into the organic background.<\/p>\n
The second family of patterns is much more streamlined and schematic. By leaving out the small details and tightening up the background, I got a more airy sample world.<\/p>\n
The third family of patterns consists of only two colours. The limbs of the beetles and the background vegetation are no longer visible in the pictures, instead the silhouette of the beetle looks more like a jewel than a living creature. This family of patterns is best used on smaller surfaces.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
